PRINCIPLES OF TREATMENT
Unlike systems only based on laser energy, it is a combination system of 808 nm Diode Laser and Bipolar RF for safe hair removal treatment in most kind of skin and hair.
With relatively lower laser energy level to preheat the target, RF surrounds the non-conducting hair follicle to make the target hair to be disabled and denatured.
Contact is made with the skin and cooling begins.
The epidermis is cooled by the chilled applicator tip, which increases the skin’s impedance, further protection the epidermis and forcing the RF energy to penetrate deeper into the pre-heated, low impedance of the targeted tissue.
Optical energy pre-heats the target tissue.
The optical energy (laser or pulsed light) is selectively absorbed by the target tissue and converted into thermal energy, pre-heating the target tissue.
RF energy is drawn toward the heated target deep inside the dermis and both energies work to treat the target tissue.
The RF current, flowing between the electrodes, has a greater preference to the pre-heated targets which have lower impendence (less resistance), resulting in more thermal impact on te target tissue.
